Bitcoin: Dari Cypherpunk ke Wall Street - Revolusi atau Akuisisi?

🇮🇩 Bahasa Indonesia

1. Pengantar: Bitcoin, Rebel yang Mulai Pakai Jas

Dulu Bitcoin lahir buat ngelawan sistem. Sekarang? Dia malah diajak rapat sama sistem.

Satoshi entah siapa, tapi dia pasti ngumpul bareng mereka.

“Not your keys, not your coins.” Itu bukan quote random, itu prinsip hidup versi blockchain.

3. Zaman Batu Bitcoin: 2009–2012

Mining? Pakai laptop kentang. Transaksi? Barter sama pizza. Wallet?

4. Bitcoin Naik Panggung (2013–2017)

Mt. Gox jadi kayak pasar malam Bitcoin. Sering rame, kadang ilang. Exchange mulai muncul, dompet makin gampang, developer open-source mulai rajin commit.

Media mulai melirik. Investor retail masuk.

5. Institusi Masuk: Bitcoin Ganti Baju

2017 ke atas, Bitcoin mulai “disekolahkan.” Masuk ETF, dibeli MicroStrategy, jadi legal tender El Salvador. Mining jadi lahan korporat, ASIC dimana-mana.

Cypherpunk minggir, Wall Street maju. Tapi, masihkah ini Bitcoin yang sama?

6. Dari Idealisme ke Realisme

Dulu (2009-2012) Sekarang (2025)
Privasi & kebebasan Regulasi & KYC
Node di kamar kos Data center kelas Google
Seed phrase di kertas Custodian insured

7. Apakah Kita Masih Rebel?

🇬🇧 English Version

1. Intro: Bitcoin, The Rebel Wearing a Suit

Bitcoin was born to fight the system. Now? It’s in meetings with the system. If Bitcoin were a person, it’d be sipping coffee in a Wall Street boardroom, typing up the minutes.

Satoshi left a whitepaper like a breakup note: “Fix the money, I’m out.” Instead, it turned into a shiny digital asset wrapped in ETFs and Wall Street approval.

2. Cypherpunk & Bitcoin: A Love Story

Cypherpunks were privacy nerds with keyboards and principles. They believed in encryption, freedom, and maybe a little paranoia.

Satoshi didn’t want Bitcoin to be a stock ticker. He wanted it to be money without middlemen. No banks, no borders, no BS.

“Not your keys, not your coins.” Simple. Brutal. True.

3. The Stone Age of Bitcoin: 2009–2012

Mining was done with laptops. People bought pizza with 10,000 BTC. Full nodes took up your whole hard drive. And nobody cared about price.

It was weird, exciting, and full of idealism.

4. Bitcoin Takes the Stage (2013–2017)

Exchanges popped up. Developers committed code. People started paying attention.

The rebel was starting to wear shoes—but still listened to punk rock.

5. Institutions Enter the Chat

From 2017 onwards: ETFs, BlackRock, MicroStrategy, El Salvador. ASIC farms. Giant mining pools.

Cypherpunks faded. Suits moved in. But is it still Bitcoin?

6. From Ideals to Industry

Then (2009-2012) Now (2025)
Privacy & freedom KYC & compliance
Nodes in bedrooms Corporate data centers
Seed on paper Insured custodians

7. Are We Still Rebels?

Yes, if you choose to be. You can still run a node. You can still hold your keys. You can still mine using solar panels if you’re into that.

As long as you don’t store your seed phrase in Google Drive, you’re good.

8. Conclusion: Bitcoin Belongs to Those Who Hold

Bitcoin got big. But you don’t have to sell your soul. You can still self-custody, educate others, and keep the rebel fire alive.
